History

With 3 generations worth of property experience, the Cummins family have been building, developing, buying and selling property in the Capricorn region for over 60 years.

Builders by trade, Lance’s grandfather Tom and father Graham relocated their operations from Rockhampton, with the family living and running the Endeavour Inn since construction began in 1987 after securing the block of land at auction.

The group began its sales and property management experience after successfully completing the strata-titling of the complex in 1993. Since then, they have developed, constructed, sold and managed numerous properties in and around Emu Park, Yeppoon and Rockhampton.

With a strong Community focus, members of the family have been instrumental with:

  • Implementation of town sewerage,
  • Design of the skate park in Bell Park,
  • Design of the bus stop adjacent to Bell Park,
  • Committee members & Directors of the Community Bank®,
  • Construction of the Emu Park & District Men’s Activity Shed,
  • Anzac Memorial Walk development,
  • Emu Park Foreshore proposed development,
  • Hartley Street Recreation Reserve proposed development.

The Cummins family have witnessed the town grow with the introduction of mains pressure water supply, curb to curb bitumen developed around the streets and the beautiful upgrade to the township. They have worked through every market – high and low – and forged strong relationships within the community. “We enjoy being part of this wonderful region”.
